Hello from us both and thanks for helping us to make a difference to the world, We'd be happy for you to support any of the charities on our list - pick whichever takes your fancy.

Once you've completed your selection you will need to complete some details and then will be transferred to a secure payment facility to pay for your donation. You'll find no extra hidden costs. We'll email you a receipt once the transaction has been confirmed.

100% of your donation will go to the charity whose gift you have selected. We then reclaim Gift Aid from the taxman on behalf of the charities. We use some of this to fund the service (card processing costs, administration, marketing etc) and pass on the remainder to the participating charities.

Participating charities regularly review our expenditure and help us keep the service as efficient as possible.

		Completing a college course Many of our service users are homeless when they come to TPS - a grant from our Make it Happen Fund has enabled a number of them to complete a college course. This donation could help us to give another young person the same opportunity.	£12.00
		Train a carer Courses can help to support a carer in their caring role and can delay admission of the person with dementia into long-term care. This donation could pay for a carer to attend a half-day specialist training course on dementia care.	£24.00
		Send a sewing machine to Liberia Many people in Liberia are trying to resume normal life after years of conflict. This donation could let us renovate a manual sewing machine and send it to Liberia, providing someone with the means to earn a living and provide for their family.	£30.00
		Support for carers Being a carer can sometimes be a lonely and exhausting experience. For 2000 Scottish carers it's the support they get from a Quarriers Carers Centre that helps keep them going. This donation could cover the costs of refreshments for a weekly carers' support group.	£30.00
		Leaving drugs behind One of our service users put his drug addiction behind him and went to Kenya with his local church to help build local schools - this donation could enable us to give another young person a similar opportunity.	£35.00
		Half a day's respite care This donation could enable us to pay for a half-day's respite care for someone with dementia to give their carer a much-needed break.	£35.00
		Help Malawi's teachers educate the countrys future This donation could help us supply teachers working in some of the poorest schools in Malawi with some of the basic items they have requested - clothes, chalk, text books, paper...	£40.00
		Books, videos and CD's People with dementia love to be able to remember what things used to be like 50 or more years ago when they were young. This donation could cover the costs of a selection of books, videos and CDs to help with reminiscence work in day care centres.	£46.00
		Karaoke at Countryview Many of the children & young people with disabilities who stay at Quarriers Countryview & Chavey Down respite centres love to sing and perform the latest pop songs. This donation could allow us to buy the latest Karaoke CDs.	£50.00
		Life saving medicines The value of this donation could allow us to supply a clinic in Chembe, Malawi that serves a desperately poor community with the drugs they need to treat HIV related diseases.	£50.00
		Rescue a child from poverty with Mary's Meals This donation could provide a child in Malawi with Mary's Meals (a daily meal in school) all through their primary education (8 years). Mary's Meals attracts chronically hungry children into the classroom where they gain the education that can rescue them from the poverty trap.	£50.00
		Provide a young Liberian with a trade This donation could give a young Liberian who missed out on school because of war the chance to learn a skill at Technical school - a skill that can provide an income and the dignity of supporting themselves.	£70.00
		A week's helpline calls Nearly 6,000 people called the Dementia Helpline last year. This donation could cover the costs of our 24 hour freephone number for a week, ensuring more people can ring it for emotional support and information.	£75.00
		Fathers' Group When your family's in difficult circumstances, it's not always easy to be a patient, loving Dad. Support from a Quarriers Family Centre can make a real difference. This donation could make a difference too by helping us to cover the weekly cost of running a Fathers' Group.	£96.00
		Support our research This donation could help with the costs of a researcher working to take forward our understanding of dementia, its causes and cures and to optimise interventions.	£100.00
		A new business & new hope for a Liberian widow The conflict in Liberia has left many women struggling to support their families. This donation could help a woman in Liberia set up her own business such as a small bakery that would allow her to start earning an income and regain her dignity and self confidence.	£100.00
		A dementia nurse for a day This donation could cover the costs of our Dementia nurse for a whole day. We are currently funding a Dementia nurse to improve care for people with dementia in acute wards at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.	£150.00
		Outdoor play equipment The play area at a Quarriers Family Centre offers local children a safe and child-centred place to play and explore. This donation could enable us to buy the outdoor play equipment we need to ensure it's educational as well as fun!	£180.00
		A stove for cooking Mary's Meals This donation could provide this Rocket cooking stove used by the local volunteers in Malawi who prepare Mary's Meals each day for chronically hungry children. The stoves use only 1/10th of the firewood needed by traditional stoves - important in a country where deforestation is a massive problem.	£300.00
